2016 WAS A SPECIAL YEAR
TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT HAPPENED INSIDE #MUNDOAMARO
This year we launched three new product lines: Shoes, Active and Lingerie. We also created an Essentials line with timeless products everyone should own. AMARO produced 16 collections in 2016 with 9,000 unique products. One of our top-sellers was the iconic Trench Coat for wich we produced additional quantities 3 times in a row.
This year we’ve opened several new Guide Shops, bringing the total to 12! They are located in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Just in time for the summer holidays, we opened a Popup Shop in Trancoso, Bahia.
TECHNOLOGY & DATA
In 2016, we invested heavily in technology and data to realize our vision of building a digitally native omni-channel brand that provides a frictionless purchase experience no matter from what device or location our customers buy. We more than doubled our Engineering & Systems team and AMARO is today as much a technology company as it is a fashion brand.
MANUFACTURING & LOGISTICS
AMARO saw a huge increase in pieces manufactured and orders shipped in 2016. This rapid growth brought our vertically integrated supply chain and in-house logistics capabilities to the test. Nonetheless we achieved one of the fastest and most reliable shipping services in the market with 2.5 hours deliveries in São Paulo and next-day deliveries to Rio de Janeiro.
TALENT & FACILITIES
AMARO is growing fast and adding some of the most talented, smartest and hard working talent in the market. In 2016 the team grew from 120 to 225 members.
